UNEP national training workshop "Introduction of up-to-date practices in maintenance of mobile air conditioners"

The first phase of training workshops "Introduction of up-to-date practices in maintenance of mobile air conditioners" for the air conditioners maintenance specialists has been begun on 10-14 November in Almaty. 66 technicians of the South region of Kazakhstan have participated in the workshop.

The aim of the workshops was training the specialists to maintain with the help of present-day practices in the sphere of refrigeration business and training the trainers to maintain the mobile air conditioners with freons replacement equipment. The participants of workshops have been acquainted with the practices of introduction of up-to-date equipment and have got an opportunity to share their experience.

After completing the workshop the certifications of passing the training course have been handed over to the participants and 44 sets of freon recovery equipment and 9 freon recycling kits have been distributed among them.

By the end of the year one more training workshop to be held in Astana, where specialists on mobile air conditioner maintenance from the South, the East and the West regions of Kazakhstan are to take part. Holding of this workshop would finish the first phase of training workshops.
Training workshops on maintenance of mobile air conditioners are the essential part of fulfillment the ODS Phase-out Programme in Kazakhstan funded by UNEP/GEF.
