The theme for World Environment Day 2009 is 'Your Planet Needs You-UNite to Combat Climate Change'.
Climate change coordination centre congratulates people of Kazakhstan with the International Environment Day. Today we want to remind everyone that the issues of environmental protection may not be separated from other problems, environment should be a leading sector in economics of Kazakhstan, since new age of green technologies and climate change mitigation is approaching. It is a highly essential issue of all international negotiations on the highest level. We are so glad that our Centre is a pioneer in Kazakhstan in this sphere and we hope to help our country in growing environmentall friendly. Congratulations, dear friends
KAZAKHSTAN RATIFIED THE KYOTO PROTOCOL
Dear Friends!
Climate Change Coordination Centre congratulates all our partners, colleagues and friends with ratification of the Kyoto Protocol to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change by the Republic of Kazakhstan!
We believe that this is the major step for Kazakhstan to become progressive and dynamically developing country.
Climate Change Coordination Centre contributed a lot of efforts to the ratification and we hope that Kazakhstan will get its projects, experts and energy efficient economy.

CHARITY
In March, 2009 Climate Change Coordination centre has handed a computer to the “Semipalatinsk city social adaptation centre for persons with no fixed abode”.
Personnel of the CCCC has acquainted with the Adaptation centre during business trip to Semipalatinsk. We appreciate all the importance of their mission and dedication of the work done by officers of the Adaptation centre. We hope that this computer will help people to find their aim again. Of course, it is a small contribution, but we believe that it will become a new brick in the base of life improvement in Kazakhstan.
ON THE WAY TO THE RATIFICATION OF THE KYOTO PROTOCOL
On the February 25, 2009 the Parlament Senate of Republic of Kazakhstan has approved the ratification of Kyoto Protocol to Framework Convention on Climate Change.
Next step will be subscription of the law by the President of Republic of Kazakhstan and law's coming into force for Kazakhstan on the 90th day after the depositary (UN) receives the ratification insrument of Kazakhstan.
